Tidbits of Truth
- Nothing takes the Lord by surprise.
- When facing problems, remember God's POWER.
- Who you are when you are ALONE with God is who you really are.
- When taking notes during a message or reading/studying your bible, change the pronouns to make it personal. For example, 2 Peter 1:3: "According as his divine power that given unto me all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through knowledge of him that hath called me to glory and virtue..." It will be more difficult to pretend this applies to someone else when you see yourself in the sentence!
- "Wisdom" - the ability to see things as God sees them - matter of the heart as well as the mind. (Worldly wisdom is the ability to use knowledge)
- "God doesn't give us Truth just to fill our heads - God give us Truth to change our lives!"
- "Sanctification" - Becoming more and more like Jesus and less and less like the world.
- Living the Christian life is not about "trying" - it's about "trusting."
- Definition of "faith" = Forsaking All I Trust Him.
